CM Punjab Kisan Card Important Update
The CM Punjab Kisan Card is a digital financial instrument launched by the Punjab Agriculture Department in association with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA), National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), and the Bank of Punjab (BOP).
Initiated on June 1, 2024, the initiative gives farmers interest-free loans to buy necessary agricultural inputs, including fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides, from authorized dealers. The card also enables subsidies and financial services and will help improve agricultural productivity and farmers’ incomes and ensure transparency with digital verification and transactions.
