Punjabs Aghosh Program

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the very first and inaugural Aghosh program of its nature. With the help of this program, pregnant women and the mothers of those children who are below the age of two will be provided a financial package worth Rs 23,000 in phases. On the inaugural basis, the very first phase has been made functional in only 13 districts namely Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addo, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab, and Lodhran.

Pregnant women will be provided with Rs 2,000 for initial registration at Maryam Health Clinic or health centers, and Rs 1,500 will be given for ongoing medical check-ups until delivery, which amounts to Rs 6,000 altogether. The health center will be gifted Rs 4,000 on the day of the birth of the child, and Rs 2,000 for the first medical examination in 15 days and Rs 5,000 for birth certificate registration.

The newborn will receive Rs 4,000 (Rs 2,000 for each) on vaccination. If you also happen to be from one of these chosen districts, then here I am going to give the whole procedure and eligibility criteria for becoming a part of this program to assist you. You people will be able to easily do your registration process following the procedure given in this article and will be able to receive financial help up to Rs 23,000. Hence, you are being asked to go through the article until the end if you desire to receive full and authentic information.

Eligibility Criteria

Let us now discuss the eligibility criteria first since to become part of the Aghosh program, one is required to satisfy the eligibility criteria first. Lactating women, pregnant women, or the mothers of up to two years old children only can become members of this program. Besides, the applying woman must hail from one of the 13 chosen districts of Punjab, details of which have been given above.

For further clarity, such districts include Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addo, Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Mianwali, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Khushab, Layyah, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran, and Taunsa Sharif. Furthermore, the applying woman must hold a valid Pakistani identity card. If we discuss medical records, pregnant women need to provide evidence of pregnancy, lactation, or giving birth so that they can receive financial support under this scheme.

Procedure For Completing Registration In The Aghosh Program

Women who fulfill all the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can simply get their registration done by following a few easy steps. In the case of the registration process, the Punjab government has launched only one process for it, which is not online. Hence, women who believe that they can get their registration done at home should dispel this illusion

To finalize the registration, women will need to go to their local BHUS (Basic Health Unit), RHCS (Rural Health Center), or LHVS (Lady Health Visitor) center. It must be kept in mind that for registration, women will need a national identity card, mobile number, and evidence of pregnancy or childbirth.

Step-by-Step Financial Support Information

If the financial support of Rs 23,000 is given in phases, it will be like this. A pregnant woman will be provided with financial support of Rs 2,000 on successful completion of her first registration at the primary and rural health centers. Then, a sum of Rs 6,000 will be given to the woman for medical check-ups during pregnancy, which will be provided in four phases of Rs 1,500 for each visit.

If a woman gives birth to a child in a government health center, she will receive financial compensation of Rs 4,000. Subsequently, Rs 2,000 will be given for the first check-up during 15 days after birth. Rs 5,000 will be given to get the birth certificate registered in the health center and Rs 4,000 for immunization, which will be given every time in the form of Rs 2,000.Digital products
