Benazir Kafalat Program 13500
The Benazir Kafalat Program is Pakistan’s biggest social safety net under the Benazir Income Support Program, which is presently benefiting 10 million women. BISP is going to further enhance this figure in the next few months. It must be kept in mind that this is a social safety net program, which targets women belonging to poor and deserving families and offers them cash assistance of Rs.13,500 on a quarterly basis.
To refresh your memory, this program was initiated by the previous Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, but it was only for widows back then. In view of the time and requirement, its extent was further broadened, and today common women of poor and worthy families can avail themselves of this facility as well.
Now, the aim of this article is to update you on the registration of this program since BISP has officially initiated the new registration of the Kafalat program. Then, poor and deserving women of families who are living under the poverty line and who have no resources to live can become part of this program and receive cash benefits quarterly. Therefore, if you too are one of those women eligible for the application process, you can simply follow the below-given procedure to make your registration successful. I will give you the entire registration process, all the instructions, and other information step by step.

Eligibility Criteria For Joining The Kafalat Program
Let us proceed to the article and first examine the eligibility criteria, as it is extremely crucial for women who wish to be included in the kafalat program to understand if they are eligible or not. It must be kept in mind that BISP has established certain specific criteria for becoming a part of the kafalat program. Only women can become a part of this program who fulfill these established criteria, which are as follows:
The candidate woman shall be a permanent resident of Pakistan and hold a National Identity Card. She cannot be involved in any other relief program previously and must not be disqualified from receiving assistance from any scheme. She should not hold any property and vehicle in her name. She should not have a job with any government entity or be a retiree of any government department. Neither should her husband nor children be engaged in government employment. In addition, the monthly family income should be below Rs.40,000, and the woman never should have been abroad, as well as never be engaged in any illegal job.
These are the exact requirements that women need to fulfill if they want to be accepted into the kafalat program. But remember that there is no registration requirement, so any woman can apply, but the decision to accept or not will be made after the registration process is finished.
Procedure And Necessary Instructions For Completing Registration
Let’s start with the procedure for finishing the registration. To this end, most women believe they have to register individually after filling up the survey. It is to be clarified in this respect that the filling up of the NSER survey is, in fact, a component of registering for the Benazir Kafalat program. That is, if you have done your survey, then it also means that your registration is done, and after that, the eligibility will be decided. So, no need to get confused in this sense
Now the question is how this survey is done. BISP has established registration centers in each tehsil of the country, where women can visit and finalize their NSER survey. It is required to bring the identity card and children’s B form for the survey. Apart from this, BISP has also issued some key instructions to be followed while doing the survey, which have to be followed
Always give proper information so that your eligibility could be identified correctly.
B Form is required for children less than 18 years of age and CNIC for more than 18 years of age.
Widows or divorced females have to give a revised marital status in NADRA.
In case of having an electricity or gas connection at home, it would be good to carry its bill with them.
A mobile number in your name is required; otherwise, the survey cannot be completed.
If the address given on the CNIC is different, then fill the new address on a plain piece of paper and bring it along.
Data about the present assets and other things in the house must be comprehensive.
Important Note: Once the survey is done, the BISP team goes to the area and checks if the information provided is accurate or not. If anyone gives incorrect information, not only can legal action be initiated but the household can also be excluded permanently. So, always give accurate and genuine information
Which Women Can Take The Survey And Is There A Charge To Take The Survey?
And now lastly, let’s discuss about whom can this survey be completed by and is there a fee to pay while doing this survey or not. As per the latest BISP updates, only the woman head of the family can complete the survey. If she satisfies all the required criteria, financial aid is given to that lady too. Aside from this, other relatives can’t get enrolled in this survey.
Is there a charge to take the survey?
This is a typical question, and it should be clarified in this context that BISP does not ask for any type of fee to take the survey. That is, this activity is absolutely free, and no one has to pay any amount of money for it.
If anyone requests payment from you in order to undertake the survey, report it promptly to the BISP helpline or the nearby office. Proceedings can be brought against him as the government has given stern directives to make the survey process clean and transparent.
Therefore, if you or your acquaintance wishes to be included in this program, go to your local BISP office and fill out the survey free of cost and don’t become a victim of any fraud.
